Our vision is to see agriculture reinvented in our lifetime.
we imagine a future where factory farms don’t exist
As of 2019, 99% of U.S.farm animals are raised on a factory farm. And as our cultural values continue to shift to speed, convenience and low-cost food options, we exist to show that there is another way.
We do everything we can to perpetuate and preserve the natural rhythm of our farm, with a belief that nature itself fuels the best innovation.
So whether we are building the world’s first solar-powered, self-driving chicken coop or regenerating pasture for the next generation, we always look to nature and our farm as inspiration and our guide.
Our goal is to make healthy, nutrient dense chicken affordable and accessible to all. We’re proudly part of the Perdue Family, maximizing our resources to bring a higher standard of chicken to as many people as possible.
Pasturebird & Perdue. It might sound an unnatural fit, but it couldn’t match our mission more.
Together with Ryan Perdue we’ve been able to expand our natural way of farming, replacing depletive practices and bring more people like you nutrient dense, great tasting chicken.
Nature’s set the standards and now we’re set to scale, building a genuinely regenerative farming future for the next generation.
Pasturebird chickens are raised on pasture in state-of-the-art, solar-powered mobile coops where animals are rotated with cattle to fresh grass on a daily basis, rebuilding healthy regenerative soils and grasslands.
Verifiably Pasture Raised Chicken
You can rest assured that we’re not just adding unfounded labels to our packages, or participating in more greenwashing of the poultry industry. In fact, we’re a member of Land to Market, the first verified sourcing solution for regenerative agriculture.
Developed in collaboration with leading scientists and researchers around the world, they’ve developed the Ecological Outcome Verification™ system, an empirical and scalable soil and landscape assessment methodology that tracks outcomes in soil health, biodiversity, and ecosystem function.
It’s a verifiable way that you can trust that our pasture is truly regenerating and replenishing, the way nature intended.
Let us acknowledge that regenerative wisdom is Indigenous wisdom. Let us remember that our grasslands and soils are not passed down from our ancestors, they are loaned to us by our future grandchildren. Let us honor the animals under our care and stewardship, and
leave agriculture better than we found it.
when we say we believe in regenerative farming, we really mean it
